Mr Dirt starts with excavating area for the concrete extensions and footer for retaining wall.
Corners of the retaining wall must be cut and glued for tight fit before back fill.
Wall is back filled. Mr Dirt uses two types of rock when backfilling our walls.
Mr Dirt further secures our retaining walls using deadman fabric. This anchors the wall into the ground behind it. Keeping the wall from moving. Retaining walls stand a much better chance at a long straight life if this step is done. However you must get to a wall thats 4ft in height before deadman fabric is effective.
Final Layers are installed and capstones are cut into place then glued. Capstones are the very top stone that is used to finish off the wall and give it a clean look.
Additional drainage was installed in this driveway before it was poured.
Mr Dirt is able the make the retaining wall fit its enviroment. In this picture we followed the contour of the driveway.
Mr Dirt also able to take your retaining wall and concrete and slope it ti whatever the customer desires. This customer had an existing paver pad that he wanted to join up with.
